Zinc Gluconate:
Zinc gluconate is the salt of gluconate and zinc II. It is an ionic compound consisting of two moles of gluconate for each mole of zinc.
Zinc gluconate is a popular form for the delivery of zinc as a dietary supplement.
It is found naturally, and can easily be manufactured using a fermentation process. In its pure form, it is a white to off-white powder.
Zinc gluconate may interfere with the absorption of antibiotics, so combinations may be unsafe.

It is white coarse granules or crystal poeder. It can be dissolved in water. Its molecular formular is C12H22O14Zn and its molecular weight is 455.68. As food additive, the serviceable range: 230-470mg in dairy products, 195-545mg in nurseling food, 40-80mg in beverage and milk beverage, 160-320mg in cereal and cereal product, 800-1000mg in table salt.
It also conforms with the requirements of FCCIV and USP28.
